*SIGH*

As you may have noticed I didn't add a spoiler section because that's for books I actually enjoyed (the exception being That's Kind of a Funny Story, but only because I read that book a few years ago). Nothing in this review will be surprising for those who read My Life Next Door, so if you haven't read that you should, because that book was good. For me, The Boy Most Likely To was sort of...eh.

Maybe it's my fault for having high expectations after My Life Next Door, but I honestly thought this book would be way better.

ME READING THE BOOK

I never was a die hard Tim fan so maybe that's why, but even so I was totally in love with Alice at the end of MLND, but after this book I was just like

Maybe I would have shipped them more if the book hadn't been placed a month after MLND. I just don't see how a 19-year-old girl training to be a nurse and a 17-year-old boy who is a "former" drug addict would have much in common. Maybe after a few years, once Tim has had some time to clean himself up a bit, I could imagine something between them, but I just didn't feel the same chemistry I felt while reading MLND.

Besides all this, I felt the drama was very...Degrassi.

(If you've read this book and watched the recent seasons, you know exactly what I'm talking about)

Overall I give Boy Mostly Likely To 2/5 stars. I know some people liked it a lot, I just wasn't one of them.
